Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

Aksutra Intelligence Labs ("Aksutra", "we", "us") is an independent AI research and development lab in Jaipur, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through aksutralabs.com (the "Site") and through our inquiries, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Where visitors from the European Union or the United Kingdom are concerned, we also apply the principles of the GDPR.

1.Who is responsible

For data collected through the Site and our inquiries, Aksutra Intelligence Labs is the data fiduciary (data controller): 3rd Floor, C-3, Shanti Nagar Rd, Shanthi Nagar B, Gurjar Ki Thadi, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302019, India.

When we deploy a product such as Aksutra Harness or Aksutra Samvad for a client, the client decides why and how the people it serves are asked for data; we process that data on the client's behalf, under a written agreement. Section 9 explains how.

2.What we collect on the Site

  • What you send us: your name, email address, the purpose of your inquiry, your message, and your answers to our commission or briefing questions. With feedback or a review, the rating and text you submit, and your name and email if you choose to give them.
  • What your browser sends: a one-way hashed form of your IP address, used to prevent spam and abuse — we do not store the address itself — together with your browser type and the page that referred you.
  • How the Site is used: the pages viewed, the referring page, browser type and approximate country, recorded without cookies and without advertising identifiers.
  • The site assistant: messages you type into it are sent to a third-party language-model provider to produce a reply. We do not store the text of those conversations; we keep only security records (a hashed IP address, message length and time) to prevent misuse.
  • Human verification: where it is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is being sent by a person.

3.How we use it

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

  • To reply to your inquiry and, if you wish, to arrange a commission, a briefing or a research collaboration.
  • To operate the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

4.The basis for using it

When you send us an inquiry, feedback or a review, you consent to our using what you sent for that purpose. You may withdraw that consent at any time (section 8). Security records are kept for the legitimate uses the law permits, such as preventing fraud and misuse, and some records are kept where the law requires it.

5.Cookies

The Site sets no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies for visitors. Cookies are used only to keep our own staff signed in to the Site's administration and to protect those sessions; they are not set when you read the Site or send us a message.

6.Who processes data for us

We use a small number of service providers: hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, language-model providers (for the site assistant and our products), and Cloudflare for human verification where it is enabled. Each receives only what its task requires. For language models we work only with providers whose API terms exclude training on the data sent to them.

Some of these providers process data outside India. We transfer data abroad only as Indian law permits, and choose providers that protect it to a comparable standard.

7.How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to maintain our business records, and delete them when you ask unless the law requires us to keep them. Usage records are kept in aggregate. Security records are kept only as long as they are useful for protecting the Site.

8.Your rights

Under Indian law you may:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
  • ask us to correct, complete or update it;
  • ask us to erase it, unless we are required to keep it;
  • withdraw consent you have given;
  • raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India;
  • nominate a person to exercise these rights for you in the event of death or incapacity.

Visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom also have rights of restriction, objection and portability, and may complain to their supervisory authority. To exercise any right, write to aksutra.labs@gmail.com. We will confirm your request and respond within the time the law requires.

9.Products we deploy for clients

Aksutra Harness and Aksutra Samvad handle data on behalf of the organisations that deploy them. That data is used only to provide the service to that client, is kept separate from every other client's, and is never used to train models. It is stored in our system or on the client's own infrastructure, as the client chooses, and the client decides whether conversation text is kept at all. Requests about data held by one of our clients should go to that client first; we will help them respond.

10.Security

The Site is served only over encrypted connections. IP addresses are stored only in hashed form, staff access is limited by role, sensitive fields are encrypted, and access is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

11.Children

The Site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12.Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear on the Site.

13.Contact and grievance officer

Questions, requests and grievances about personal data: Hardik Zayne, Founder and Grievance Officer.
